The Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society (PNS) recognizes that the safety of all of those on site at the PNS Annual Scientific Meeting is our top priority. Our Commitment to Safety will continue to evolve based on local, state and federal guidance to ensure that all participants are as committed as we are to following safety and health protocols on site.
Please be advised that attendees will be required to follow CDC recommendations at the time of the meeting at the local, state and federal level. The coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known cure for COVID-19. It is not possible for PNS to prevent participants from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while attending its events and/or entering onto premises where PNS’s events are held. Therefore, by registering for the event hosted by PNS, and entering onto premises where its conferences are held, you understand that you may be exposed to and/or increase your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
Your failure to comply with all safety protocol procedures as listed above or any direction from PNS staff, PNS leadership, and hotel staff on site may result in loss of right to attend or participate in the PNS event, including forfeiting any registration fees paid.
